The Only Thing I Want

One thing: I want God to make himself the sole object of my worship. The sole object of my thought. The sole object of my affection, desire, hope, emotion. I want God to make himself so evident to me, so obvious, so glorious-- that my sinful, jacked up, stupid, idiotic, idolatrous, self seeking heart will have no other choice but to submit to his graceful, sovereign will. I want God to show me the incomprehensible depths of Christ's sufficiency
